New Delhi: The country’s new Parliament House will be inaugurated on May 28. Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Narendra Modi) will inaugurate this building, but before that politics has started in the country regarding the new Parliament House. All the opposition parties are criticizing PM Modi. Many opposition parties like Congress, AAP, RJD, JDU have announced boycott of the inauguration ceremony. Here we are telling you why the new Parliament House has become an issue of politics in the country and why the opposition has come together to oppose this program.

In fact, there is a demand from the opposition parties that the President should inaugurate the new Parliament House. Regarding this demand, the leaders of many political parties have decided to boycott the function organized on 28 May. Several opposition parties, including the Congress, have demanded that the new building of Parliament be inaugurated by President Draupadi Murmu.

Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi had written in his tweet – President should inaugurate the new Parliament House, not the Prime Minister!

rant of the opposition

The Congress alleged that the government had insulted President Murmu and the entire tribal community by keeping him away from the ceremony. Meanwhile, the Trinamool Congress and the Communist Party of India (CPI) said they would not attend the inauguration programme.

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut said that not inviting President Draupadi Murmu for the inauguration of the new Parliament building is “worrisome” as well as “ridiculous”. Sanjay Raut said “political greed” motivated the Narendra Modi government’s ambitious Central Vista project in New Delhi.

Sanjay Raut also said that in the first place there was no need for a new Parliament House, because the existing Parliament House could work for 100 more years.

AAP also boycotted
The Aam Aadmi Party said that it would boycott the inauguration ceremony of the new Parliament building on May 28. The party said, “Many other opposition parties will also not participate in the program. We will boycott the ceremony.”

Uproar at the Inauguration
TMC is also an aggressor on the issue of new parliament building. Party MP Saugata Rai said, we are against the PM inaugurating the new parliament building. The President should inaugurate it.

On the other hand, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MP Manoj Jha said, “Shouldn’t it have happened that the President should have inaugurated the new building of Parliament… Jai Hind.”

CPI (M) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury tweeted – When the foundation stone of the new Parliament building was being laid, PM Modi sidelined the President. But it is unacceptable to ignore His Excellency the President even at the inauguration ceremony.
