The local police apprehended a TV station reporter who was working on an investigative story from Punjab and was accused of running over a dalit woman while covering the news.
The journalist was named as Bhavana Kishore and she worked for Times Now, a journalistic organisation that aired a report titled “Operation Sheesh Mahal” that was based on Arvind Kejriwal’s official residence in Delhi.
Bhavana was reportedly seized by the Punjab police on May 5 after allegedly running over a woman in a traffic accident.
