The IPL 2023 champion is Chennai Super Kings. The MS Dhoni-captained squad made history by winning the match for the sixth time. As a result, Chennai is currently tied with another side for the most IPL championships. In a game that went down to the final ball, he used the Duckworth-Lewis method to defeat Gujarat Titans by five wickets. After Ravindra Jadeja’s four off the final ball, CSK reached the 171 run mark in 15 overs. Gujarat, who batted first, scored 214 for four on the strength of a 96-run performance by Sai Sudarshan. He and Gaikwad collaborated on a 74-run partnership in 39 balls for the first wicket. In the second over, he struck Hardik for a six and a four. Then Shami scored two straight fours. Conway struck Rashid Khan for four in the following over, and Gaikwad added six and four.

Ambati Rayudu put Mohit on target in the following over and smashed two sixes and two fours. CSK now had a 15-ball, 23-run requirement. On a slower ball, Mohit managed to catch Rayudu in his hands. MS Dhoni was now on the pitch. He caught David Miller on the first pitch, though, defying everyone’s predictions, and eventually became a golden duck. In the last two overs, CSK needed to score 22 runs. Just eight runs were scored in the 14th over by Mohammed Shami.
The final six balls were needed to score 13 runs. On the first four balls, just three runs were scored, and the final two balls required 10 runs. Afterwards, Jadeja’s sixes and fours helped Chennai win the match.
